CAD to GIS converter – DWG, DXF to KML, KMZ, Shapefile

One place to put an AutoCAD drawing or a SketchUp model on a map: pick the file, pick the coordinate system (VN2000, WGS84 or EPSG) or use the Add Location position, and get the format you need.

Who is it for?

  • Surveyors and cadastral engineers: put survey drawings and parcel extracts on Google Earth to check the position and send them to clients.
  • Planning and design consultants: view planning drawings and project layouts over satellite imagery and overlay them on existing conditions.
  • GIS users: load CAD drawings into QGIS or ArcGIS as Shapefiles with an attribute table.
  • Anyone who receives a DWG without AutoCAD: convert it to DXF or KMZ so it can be opened.
  • Architects and 3D modellers: put a SketchUp model (2021 or newer) on Google Earth or in QGIS, or convert it to GLB for 3D viewing, using its Add Location position.

Results are for viewing, checking and analysis; they do not replace the original drawing or any legal record.
